This tour commences at Port Elizabeth - 'The Friendly City' superbly set on the shores of Algoa Bay. At Addo Elephant National Park we may encounter some 200 Elephants, as well as Cape buffalo, black rhino, kudu and other antelope. We follow one of the Loveliest coastlines in the world that stretches from Port Alfred to the Tsitsikamma National Park - a place of awe-inspiring beauty and grandeur. Plettenberg Bay, with its idyllic setting and white sandy beaches ranks with the best in Africa. One of the Garden Route's most popular resorts lies on the Knysna Lagoon, an excellent venue for water sports.The town of Knysna is renowned for its beer and oysters whilst Oudtshoorn features some flourishing ostrich farms. Enjoy wine tasting at one of the famous Wine Estates along the Paarl and Franschoek Wine Route. The tour ends at Cape Town - with its majestic Table Mountain backdrop - being one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Cape Town reflects a harmonious blend of architectural styles with many outstanding examples of Cape Dutch mansions. The coastlines of the Cape Peninsula are renowned for their white sandy beaches, each with its own unique character and charm.

Port Elizabeth. Your guide will meet and greet you at Port Elizabeth airport. Transfer to your hotel in Port Elizabeth (B + D).
Addo Elephant National Park - Knysna (255 km). After breakfast we proceed to the Addo Elephant National Park - home to some 200 elephants as well as to Cape buffalo, black rhino, kudu and other antelope. After lunch we proceed further via the Tsitsikamma Forest to Knysna with its famous Knysna Lagoon. We will spend the night at a hotel (B).
Knysna - Outeniqua Choo-Tjoe Steam train - George. In the morning we embark the Choo-Tjoe Steam train which winds its way past the beautiful resort of Wilderness towards George. Upon arrival at George Railway Station on we return to Knysna. The afternoon is at leisure at Knysna. We spend the night again at Knysna (B + D).
Knysna - Oudtshoorn (75 km) - Cango Caves. Today we will visit the famous Cango Caves - internationally renowned as one of the world's great natural wonders. Sculptured by nature through the ages, their fascinating limestone formations occur in a variety of colours. A two-hour guided tour leads through the calcite caves, revealing fascinating shapes enhanced by strategic lighting. Also we will visit an Ostrich Farm on this day. We spend the night at Oudtshoorn (B + D).
Oudtshoorn - Calitzdorp - Capetown (225 km). After breakfast we drive along the Garden Route via Calitzdorp, Seweeksepoort Nature Reserve and Ladismith to Cape Town - with its majestic Table Mountain as backdrop. We spend three nights at a hotel in Capetown (B).
Capetown - Wine lands (85 km). After breakfast we commence the world-famous Wine Route. We proceed to Franschoek - with its Huguenot Memorial and Museum, further into Paarl and Stellenbosch. There we make a wine cellar tour and wine-tasting followed by a lunch (optional) at one of the famous wine-estates. Overnight at a hotel in Capetown (B + D).
Capetown - Table Mountain - Cape of Good Hope. The morning we will go by cable car to the top of Table Mountain (weather permitting). Afterwards we will visit various interesting sites e.g Cape of Good Hope, Signal Hill, Chapman's Peak and Cape Point.
Capetown. In the morning we will have the opportunity to visit the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront with its magnificent shops, cosy restaurants and bars. In the late afternoon we say goodbye to you at the airport. The end of an unforgettable journey!
